Summer is in full swing and camping season with it. I always find that this is the time of year when I start looking to replace gear that isn’t working, or try and purchase new gear that I’d like to add to my repertoire. That being said, here’s a quick list of my 5 favorite accessories to make camping a little better.
The ENO Twilights
The ENO Twilights are a must have item for any camper, of any type. They’re the coolest little accessory to brighten any camping experience (see what I did there? lol). Effectively Christmas lights with a battery supply, the ENO Twilights are lightweight, compact and easy to use. They fit comfortably in a backpack, tuck easily into a stuff sack, and can be used around camp, with a hammock, or on the inside of your truck bed.
Crazy Creek Hex 2.0
Never tried a Crazy Creek? Well, you’d better change that. These camp chairs are comfortable, simple and multipurpose. The Hex 2.0 is a closed cell foam pad that is both insulating and supportive. It makes for a comfortable seating location be it on bleachers, dirt, canoe seats, grass or snow. When laid flat it can double as a sleeping pad, and when folded and rolled it can act as support for a splint.
YETI Hopper 30
The YETI Hopper 30 is the perfect companion for any environment. Be it kayaking, camping, or tailgating the Hopper 30 will keep your food and drinks cold for longer than you’ll ever need (up to 7 days!). The Hopper is fully insulated, highly durable and easy to pack and carry. It’s comfortable around the shoulder or easily lashed to the front of a kayak.
Outdoor Tech Turtle Shell 2.0
The Outdoor Tech Turtle Shell 2.0 will provide the atmosphere to any campfire. Small and compact, this Bluetooth enabled speaker produces plenty of sound without the use of power cords or wires. The Turtle Shell 2.0 is water resistant so it’s perfect for the beach, and comes equipped with multiple mounting points so it can go anywhere, with anyone. Don;t leave the tunes behind, enjoy the evening with the sounds of fun.
The Black Diamond Voyager Lantern
The Black Diamon Voyager Lantern will provide lighting for any scenario. It’s small and compact, running on only a few AA batteries so it can carry nicely in a pack or kayak. It provides both a spotlight, like a flashlight and room lighting, like a lantern. It has full dimming and brightness controls and an easy to use one-button control. Perfect for group cooking areas, internal tent lighting, or evening card games.
